Lunch at P'Nut Windsor

Lunch at P'Nut Windsor

Bright red colors and the luring aroma of spice, my stomach was ready for this 😀.
The hardest part was narrowing down what on the menu to get, in the end… I ended up with quite a bit of food. Here we go! 🤤

What we had:

Lychee Coconut Frappe

Perfect for these randomly warm days!
Smooth and creamy coconut cream mixed with refreshing icey lychee, then topped with a plump lychee.
It was hard to hold back drinking it all before the food arrived, but it went down a treat afterwards.

So… I had to get this.
Firstly until the end of August they are 50% off, so that made me want to try it even more.
Besides the fact its fried chicken in a waffle cone ❤️.

Inside this crispy waffle cone, it is filled with cage free popcorn chicken pieces, drenched in sweet plum and P’Nuts sriracha mayonnaise. I liked to think of this as a comforting entree to my meals to come, it was a delicious start.

Thailand’s favourite dish – tamarind based sauce slowly simmered for two and a half hours then tossed with home-style rice noodles. I went with the seafood variation for some juicy prawns to be added in the mix. The tamarind added a nice sweet and sour taste to the noodles.

Next up, we decided to try a nice saucy noodle dish. This one is created with tender chicken breast,Thai basil and homemade chilli paste stirred with hokkien noodles. The chicken was very moist and enjoyable, but the long noodles were a wonderful treat.

The final dish is Indonesia’s former President Bambang’s favourite! Fried rice flavoured with chilli sambal that serves up a nice kick. The sambal is housemade, and adds a bit of heat to this delicious dish. I really enjoyed the texture of the rice and just the about of spicy flavor in this.

If I were going to get a fourth dish… I’d definitely get a non-spicy one lol.

Summary:

I love the variety of delicious options on the menu.
The service was very friendly and the venue was tidy.
From protein to noodles, there wasn’t an ingredient that lacked flavor.
Definitely excited to come back again soon 🙂.
