Brill Coffee - Specialty Coffee in an Instant

Brill Coffee - Specialty Coffee in an Instant

TLDR: If you like delicious specialty coffee, and want it conveniently and want to save money, get this

Hi, my name is Adam.

If you asked me 9 years ago out to have a coffee, I’d say no. You see my first exposure to coffee was when I was younger and back in The States where instant coffee and Starbucks is everywhere... and it was terrible so I never had coffee again. 😂

It’s only when I had my first taste again at a local markets that I became hooked to this magical beverage.

Now… I’m a 2-3 cups of coffee a day person. I’ve gotten to that stage where I will go out of my way to find a specialty coffee stop to spoil myself.

A month ago I received this package of coffee delights. One larger container, an adventure tin (which I now carry in my bag while I’m out 😂), a Brill cup that is the correct dimensions for the perfect cup of coffee, and an adorable spoon to measure out half (or more if you like it a little stronger) of coffee.

What you’ll notice when you first open the container is the beautiful, diamond-like coffee grounds. The next thing that will hit you is that beautiful aroma, which most “instant” coffee lack and what puts me off of them… also most instant coffee tastes burnt lol.

So let’s begin.

… What do you need?

1. Your favorite mug 😉
2. Half Teaspoon of your choice of Brill Coffee - Colombia South Huila for me
3. 1 75ml Hot Water
4. Stir & Enjoy

Yes, it is that simple.

Not going to lie… I have been drinking it while I’m out and about at work or throughout the week.
I am guilty of asking for hot water from fast food venues (and it’s free lol), but I don’t care anymore it’s worth it.

I’ve been slowly going to my usual barista friends and asking them to try it.
So far, not one has disliked it and everyone has finished the cup.
A couple have even asked me where to get it and how much.
(Ps. this is the shop)

On average you get around 30 cups from a 64g container… that works out to a savings of $120 in usual coffee spending, and that can instead go to spoiling my stomach with more delicious food. ❤️

Now I just need to get a fancy metal kettle to boil my water at home and I think i’ll be complete lol.
